Family Friendly Stays

Get ready for some family fun at The Bell. We’re not just a place to stay; we’re your go-to spot for the ultimate family break. Bring the kiddos along, and we’ll get an extra bed ready for action at just £15 per night for the cool 2-14 age squad (where available). Oh, and the littlest ones under two? They stay for free because, well, they’re just too cute to charge. Let the family fun begin

Dog Friendly Stays

Listen, we know that no staycation is truly complete without your four-legged companion by your side. So why not bring them along? They’ll thank you after a day or two of unmatched countryside walks which are all just a bones throw away.

And if you’re staying in luxury, we think they deserve the same. Expect a doggy bed or blanket, bowl and tasty treats on arrival. Bring up to two pooches for an additional £20 each per room, per night.

Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Stow-on-the-Wold?

As locals, we love our little slice of the Cotswolds and we know you will too.

In our opinion, a two night stay is pretty perfect. Looking for a little less? You’ll still have a fab time (we promise) but don’t be surprised if you find yourself wishing to stay an extra night.

Looking to stay for longer than a couple nights? We’re here to help make sure that Stow becomes the next you-gotta-go spot you tell all your friends about.

What are the best things to do in Stow on the Wold?

We totally get it if your plan involves just chilling in bed and sipping on a bottle (or two) of wine – hey, you’re on vacation, right? But if you’re itching for some adventure, you don’t have to venture far.

Just take a stroll down our street and you’ll be right in the thick of it. From antique shops to fresh farm goodies, and hey, even the door rumoured to have sparked Tolkien’s imagination for Lord of the -Rings – you’ll stumble upon plenty of magic right outside our door.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our cosy pub (or even the garden if that lovely sun is shining) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am-10am every day. If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got lots of family-friendly bedrooms. Our Boutique and Bigger Boutique rooms can fit cots for the littlest of guests and many have space for fold-out beds for the bigger little ones. Some Bigger Boutique’s also have single sofa beds.

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Four legged friends are some of our favourite guests so naturally, lots of our rooms are dog-friendly.

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

Our spot at the end of the high street comes with a tiny hiccup: limited parking. But hey, no need to fret as there’s plenty of free on-street parking all around us. And for those of you cruising in electric cars, there’s an EV charging point over at Tesco, just a 15-minute stroll away.

How do I get to you via public transport?

Whilst we love our out-of-the-way location for so many reasons, it does mean getting to us isn’t quite so easy via public transport. Our closest train station is Moreton-in-Marsh, which is a 15-minute drive away.

There’s plenty of bus services throughout the day and our reservation team are more than happy to help you find your way here.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
